For celerbrating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, The Cultural Center of Ganquan County has organized the local cultural talents to make literacy and artistic creations themed on the Red Army for the purpose of an exhibition, so as to continue the red bloodline and carry forward the spirit of the Long March. So far, the large-scale Red Army-themed farmers draws - The Red Army Brings Us Happiness - has drawn a successful conclusion.
Since April this year, a total of six people, including Li Ting, Shi Yanmei and other county-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors, initiated a special creation project. The creators, while balancing their farm work and household chores, spent their spare time at the county club of the trade unions to create and refine their works with great care. The painting was based on the classic Shaanbei folk song The Mountain Peony Blooms Brightly, deeply interpreting the sincere feelings of the Shaanbei people in supporting the Red Army and loving the revolution. The painting is 5 meters long and 1.3 meters wide, presents a simple and genuine style and a strong rural flavor, vividly demonstrated the sincere original intention of the grassroots people to remember the history of the Long March and carry forward the red bloodline.
