Huashugou Canyon
The Ganquan Grand Canyon, located in the hilly and gully areas of the Loess Plateau, is distributed in Xiaosuiwan, QiaozhenTown, Donggou and other places in Ganquan County. It is formed by over 120 small and large gorgesconnected in series. It is a typical buried-type Danxia landform. The fractures caused by the crustal movement billions of years ago, after being finely carved by mountain floods and heavy rainsyears after years, eventually created this magnificent natural wonder. In early 2017, a geology photography enthusiast from Beijing accidentally unveiled its mystery. In August of the same year, the scenic area was officially opened to the public. Now, it has received several honors such as a national 4A tourist attraction and a civilized tourism demonstration unit in Shaanxi Province. Due to its resemblance to the American Antelope Canyon, it has earned the title of “China's Antelope Canyon”. This time,it was againincluded in the “China’s Top 10 Most BeautifulDanxia LandscapesList”,added another significant endorsement to its charm.
