The golden autumn is the best time to appreciate the gingko scenes in Zaoyuan Revolutionary Site. In the gingko forest, the green has all turned into golden and the leaves are sparkling under the sun. There’s also a “golden carpet” due to the fallen leaves layer by layer. A gust of wind blew over, the leaves went with the wind, rustling and drifting down, like a sea of golden flowers rolling over and over, thus formed the romantic and poetic autumn scenery in Yan’an attracting large amounts of citizens and visitors.
